A gallery style display made to house a client’s colorful collection of old shotgun shells (the display was ultimately wall mounted).
This actual size house facade was built as a set to photograph seasonal holiday decorations for national product packaging. It’s not everyday you get a chance to work in a space big enough to contain a house so I took the opportunity kick back on the porch and admire the view.
"Let's find an old trailer and turn it into a mobile dive bar." It was a funny little idea that came about while drinking whiskey in a ski cabin a few winters back. It still sounded good the next morning when we sobered up so we ran with it. Little did my friend Carl and I know that we were about to put ourselves through a self-taught masters course in trailer restoration when we purchased a vintage Cardinal trailer off Craig's List.
Extensive water damage throughout the trailer required a full "frame off" rebuild and when all was said and done, we essentially had a brand new showroom model '58 Cardinal Deluxe.
All cabinetry and woodwork were rebuilt from scratch to match the original honey-toned birch, with a few modifications and flourishes. The electrical and water systems have been updated along with a sound system powered by a digital stereo manufactured to resemble a 1950's AM/FM car radio.
